Ms. Jen Bockerman

Jennifer Bockerman began teaching at Lincoln Lutheran in 2012. She teaches grades 6-12 visual arts. Jennifer is from Juniata, Nebraska and graduated from Adams Central High School. She went on to Concordia University, Nebraska where she received her B.S.Ed. in K-12 Art, B.F.A. in Studio Art, and LTD. While at Concordia, Jennifer was blessed with the opportunity to travel abroad studying in London for a semester and backpacking around Western Europe and was also able to student teach in Noosaville, Australia. She received her M.A. in Studio Art from the State University of New York in New Paltz, New York.

Jennifer has a toy rat terrier named Scott, who is struggling through an identity crisis and believes himself to be a cat. While she does not have children, she does have a wide variety of house plants.

Jennifer enjoys watching her students make the connection between aesthetics and concepts through visual communication. It is her goal to help students link course subjects, history, cultural traditions, and pop culture.

Jennifer is excited to have become part of the Lincoln Lutheran family and looks forward to coming together in fellowship and learning with the Lincoln Lutheran community. She is a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
