Activities
The primary purpose of our Activities Department is to meet the school-related interests and needs of students within our system that are not provided by the curricular program. The activities program refers to clubs, classes, fine arts, intramurals and interscholastic competition. We stress a Christ-centered approach in each of the activities offered and we pray that through participation in those activities, each student will develop an attitude of good sportsmanship and important life skills to become successful citizens in our highly competitive society. All school-sponsored interscholastic activities are conducted in accordance with Nebraska School Activities Association rules and policies. Through our Christ-centered approach, not onloy do we follow the NSAA rules, our goal is to exceed in the areas of spirituality, sportsmanship and leadership development. News & AnnouncementsLincoln Lutheran Hosts Conference MeetLincoln Lutheran was host to the Centennial Conference Cross Country Meet at Pioneer Park on Friday October 10. The girl’s team finished with a fourth place team finish, and the boys a fifth place finish. The girl’s team fell just two points short of a third place finish. The girls were lead by medalists Kayla Asche - 10th (17:34.8), just nipping team mate Erin Heiden - 11th (17:35.8) by one second. Anne Heibel finished in 18th place with a time of 18:27.4.
Warriors Compete at Lincoln Lutheran InvitationalThe Lincoln Lutheran cross country meet at Pioneers Park October 2 was very successful. All of the Warriors competed well at their home meet. The girls' team finished fourth overall. The boys' team finished second at their home meet. This meet was also parents' night for the cross country team.
Lady Warriors Earn 2nd Place at Ashland TourneyThe Lady Warriors volleyball team has had a great start to the new season. This past weekend, October 2-4, our warriors competed in the Ashland-Greenwood Tourney. The brackets consisted of 4 teams each. The teams that attended were Ashland-Greenwood, Fillmore Central, Lincoln Lutheran, Wahoo, Platteview, Plattsmouth, Fairbury, and Omaha Roncalli Catholic.
