Middle School Cross Country
Our Middle School Cross Country teams compete in a number of 'fun runs' throughout the course of their season.  Locations of the runs include Seward, Arlington, Fillmore Central, Malcolm, Norris and Pioneer Park-Lincoln.  The athletes get a good feel for what cross country running is like and allows them to evaluate the possibility of extending that activity in High School.  It also helps them in preparation for basketball, track and/or soccer, if they are so inclined to participate in the winter or spring sports.

Cross Country Fun Night

The cross country team got together August 5 th for a night of fun & fellowship at Champions Fun Center before the kick off of the 2008 season. Twenty team members showed up to engage in some fun competitive miniature golf and Go-Kart races. Erin Heiden displayed some skills on the putt-putt course, shooting a team low 49. Andrew Malan will thankfully not retire from running soon and take up golf having a team high score of 69. Competitive spirits prevailed on the Go-Kart track with Mark Lohmeyer and Ken Lahm battling it out for the Championship.
