High School Track
The theme for the 2007 Track and Field team was "Go the extra mile,...it is never too crowded." This is in refernce to Matthew 5:41. "Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two." The coaches felt that the team displayed this work ethic, by continually giving it their all in practice and in competition!
The
year was very rewarding to see the successes happening throughout the
season for both the girls and the boys teams. One of the
highlights for the boys team was winning the Conestoga
Invitational. This shows how teamwork can pay off as numerous
boys won medals in their events.
