NO After School Care on Friday

ALL STUDENTS (6th-12th) will have an early dismissal(2:40) on Friday. There is also NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE Friday. Please plan to pick up your student at 2:40 pm. Kids not picked up at 2:40 can stay in the commons but there will be NO SUPERVISION. 

Graduation Day Instructions

Commencement Service will be held Sunday, May 21 at 2:00 pm. Doors will open at 1:00 pm. Parking is available in the Lincoln Lutheran lots, the Trinity Elementary lot to the North, and the Odd Fellows lot across 56th street to the West. Handicap Entry – Please park on the East side of Lincoln Lutheran and enter through the East doors that lead to the Commons and the Main Gym.  

Last Day for Guidance Office June 9

Please note that Mrs. Frederick's last day in the office will be June 9. She will NOT be available to assist people during the summer break. If you have a question or concern about something, please plan to visit with her before June 9 or it will have to wait till her return July 24th. Thank you and Have a Great Summer Break!

State Track & State Golf

Congrats to everyone going to State Track and State Golf.

State Track is Friday & Saturday, May 19th & May 20th in Omaha at Burke Stadium.  State Golf is Tuesday & Wednesday, May 23rd & May 24th in Kearney at Meadowlark Hills Golf Course. The first tee time for our LL golfers is at 10:10am.  

Apply to be part of the Tech Center

Mr. Sommerer is currently accepting applications from students who are interested in working in the Tech Center. While some familiarity with technology is helpful, Mr. Sommerer is also looking for students who are willing to learn and eager to help others.  Initially the Tech Center is manned by students in grades 9 through 12. We meet during AP. Applications are due by Friday, May 19th. Students currently in 8th - 11th grade may apply. You can get an application from the office or from Mr. Sommerer.

Boys Golf District Champs!

Congratulations to the LL Boys Golf team on becoming District Champions Monday, 5/15!  They beat Lincoln Christian by 6 strokes as a team yesterday.  We shot a 318, LC a 324.  Grant Johnson was the overall champion after winning a sudden death playoff.  Luke was 3rd, Noah 6th, and Elijah 8th.  State is next week Tuesday/Wednesday in Kearney.

Graduation Service to be Live Streamed

If you won't be able to join us here at Lincoln Lutheran for the Graduation Ceremony this Sunday, you will have the opportunity to view a live stream of the service. Just go to  http://striv.tv/channel/lincoln-lutheran/ and the service will "go live" right at 2 pm. Feel free to share this link with family and friends. 

LL Office Closes at 12:30 Monday

On Monday, May 22, the school office will close early, 12:30 pm, so our staff can go on a faculty/staff outing. Our office will be opened that day from 10am-12:30pm. We will follow the posted summer office hours (10am-2pm, M-F) beginning Tuesday the 23rd. 

District Track Results

The girls team brought home the District Runner-up plaque, as both HS Track teams competed well at Districts on Thursday, May 11 at Yutan.  We had a good day, having several 1st and numerous 2nd place individuals and relays going on to State! There were numerous personal bests attained and a large number of District medalists. So overall we have 8 athletes in 7 events that will take part in the State Meet on Friday, May 19, and Saturday May 20 at Omaha Burke's stadium. Here are your 2017 NE State Track Meet Qualifiers:

Boys Summer Soccer and Camp Info

Lincoln Lutheran offers numerous opportunities for high school boys (current grades 8-12) to participate in summer soccer.  Plans are to have a team compete in both the YMCA 8v8 league and a Pius X 8v8 league.  YMCA league fees are $50 with games in the early evening beginning in early June.  The Pius league will cost $35 and be played at Pius later in the evening beginning mid-June and running to mid-July.

LC Golf Invitational Results

Conference Track Results

Congrats to both track teams as they had good showings at the Centennial Conference Meet on Saturday. The girls scored 70 points and the boys 36. We had 4 Conference titles: Josie was a dual winner, Champion in the 100m hurdles and the pole vault, Mackenzie Koepke in the high jump (3rd year in a row), and Logan Kreizel tied for 1st in the high jump. There were many second place finishers and numerous medalists! Quite the feat for our very talented Conference! Way to go Warriors! God's speed at the Districts on Thursday!!

Lincoln Journal Star Academic All-State

Boys Golf Conference Champions!

This Saturday the boy’s golf team claimed their first Centennial Conference boy’s golf championship at Quail Run GC in Columbus.  Behind the fine play of all five golfers, the Warriors posted a team 317 to beat the defending State Champion, Grand Island Central Catholic team by 6 strokes.  Grant Johnson was the Conference Medalist shooting a +1 73.  The rest of the team’s scoring was rounded out by Elijah Frost 79 (6th), Luke Bartels 82 (9th), Noah Frost 83 (T10) and Dylan Lilienthal 88.  It was a beautiful day and some great golf!
