Blackout For Beth Clothing-Deadline Friday, Dec. 8th

Some LL friends of the Volin family are independently sponsoring a clothing fundraiser to support Beth Volin, mom of Luke (10th grade) and Rachael (8th grade) who is currently battling metastatic melanoma. Fall Music Fundraiser

Music Parents: If your child sold Fruit or movie tickets as part of the fall music fundraiser, items will be available for pick up on Monday, Dec 11th after school in the commons. Sweatpants and shorts will be available later the following week. 

HS Drama Information

Syracuse Soup Supper

The Syracuse boosters are having a soup supper during the JV and varsity games on Friday, December 15th from 5-8pm.  It will be in the Syracuse MS Commons and it is a freewill donation. They are serving chicken noodle soup, chili soup, shredded beef sandwiches, pie and cake.

Angel Tree Project and Locker Gift Wrapping to Benefit Lincoln Pregnancy Center

The Student Council's annual Angel Tree project will once again benefit the Lincoln Pregnancy Center. The Angel Tree is located by the office. Please consider taking an ornament, purchasing the gift, and returning it unwrapped under the tree. All of the gifts will be donated to bless families in which mothers have chosen the gift of life in the face of unplanned pregnancy. Click 'view" for more information.

Are you looking for a way to get into the Christmas spirit and serve your fellow man? The Community Outreach Leadership team is sponsoring an activity before the Christmas break; they will be serving at Jacob’s Well. Lincoln Christian MS BB Tourney

Congratulations to our 7th grade Boys Basketball team who took 1st place at the LC tournament this past Saturday (12/2) The boys won both rounds finishing 34-18 vs. Bishop Neumann and 31-25 vs Wahoo. Congratulations also goes to the 8th grade team who took 2nd place. They won their first round match vs. Neumann 29-14, but fell short vs a tough Wahoo team Wahoo 33-LL 15.

The next games for both teams will be at the Syracuse Tournament on Saturday, 12/16. 

Schedule Changes - Second Semester

All schedule changes for second semester must be done by December 21st.  Mrs. Frederick will be out of the building on the 22nd with the Middle School students.  Students will receive a copy of their 2nd semester schedules on Monday, Dec 11th during AP/Access.

Indoor Soccer

It is time to sign up for Indoor soccer session 2!  The league this session will be played on Sunday mornings and afternoons. The cost per player depends on how many players register. For example, a 10 man team would mean that each player owes $60. The deadline for signing up is December 13th.  If you are interested in signing up, please email Jeremiah Marjorins at When you email, please include the player's name, e-mail, and date of birth, and phone number.

Future Freshman Night - 1/11/18

This night is designed for Future Warriors & their parents to gather information & learn about High School & the transition process. Topics to be covered: Curriculum Information, Graduation Requirements, Freshman Course Selection, & Extra Curricular Activities.

Messiah HS Gleaning Trip

Messiah Lutheran is hosting a mission trip to Gleanings for the Hungry in California. This trip is open to all current high school students, regardless of school or church membership. Guests are always welcome. The HS Reserve Basketball games against Raymond Central on Monday, Dec. 11th have been cancelled due to Raymond Central's low numbers this year.

Music Teaching Position

Faith Lutheran School is accepting names for a full-time music teaching position beginning July 1, 2018.  This teaching position will be responsible for all music instruction for students age 2 – Grade 5 at Faith Lutheran School.  Interested candidates must hold a K-12 Music Teaching Certificate.  Please submit any names to Krista Barnhouse, school principal, at

On Tuesday, Dec. 19th, in conjunction with the Girls and Boys, JV and Varsity Basketball games versus Wahoo at Lincoln Lutheran, some LL friends of the Volin family are independently sponsoring a “Blackout for Beth” theme and event in support of Beth Volin, who is currently battling metastatic melanoma.  Everyone is encouraged to wear black to the games, and there is a clothing order available (see separate announcement for link) for items designed specific to Beth’s battle. Click 'view' for all the details and ways to volunteer.

LL Clothing Drive - Jan. 13

Our next clothing giveaway is scheduled for Saturday, January 13th from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon in the commons at LL.  Please consider donating to our event and blessing our community with your gifts of unwanted clothing, coats, shoes, formal wear, and children's books.  We will be especially excited about gifts of winter wear, but ALL donations are very welcome.  Please drop off items at the LL front office any time from now until the event. Consider coming in yourselves, as we always have the LL lost and found items available one last time!!!
