Early Dismissals for Today - 10/16

The JV Football team will be dismissed today at 2:15 for their 4 pm game at Lincoln Christian today.

Food Bank Food Drive - Now till Oct. 26

Thursday (10/12) began our annual food drive contest, led by the Student Council and the National Honor Society. For the next two weeks, please bring any non-perishable food items you’d like to donate to your Access/AP teacher’s room. This drive is a contest between area schools each October to increase the food supply at the Lincoln Food Bank, especially as winter and the holidays approach. Many families in our area struggle to keep food on the table, especially at this time of the year. click view for more

Speech Meeting

There will be a Speech team meeting after school on Wednesday, October 18th. It will be in room 105 and will only last 10 minutes. Please email Mr. Matt Kristalyn at if you have questions or can not make the meeting.

HS Drama Information

LL HS Drama Presents: You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Performances will be November 10-12th

HS FB Game Time Friday: 7:30

Just a reminder that the HS Varsity Football game this Friday vs Yutan will begin at 7:30 pm at Abel Stadium. The gates will not open until 7 pm due to NWU practices.

HS CC Results

Warrior cross country is going to state!!  Tanner Lebo, Jacob Meyer, Ryan Hlavity, and Jack Rolland all posted personal bests as the Lincoln Lutheran boys' team qualified for state with a 3rd place finish at the district cross country meet at Branched Oak lake on Thursday.  Noah L'Heureux and Colton Meyer also had strong finishes.  Tanner Lebo earned a 13th place medal.

Girls State Golf Results

The Girls Golf team wrapped up their season with a twelfth place finish in the State Championship at Lake Maloney Golf Course in North Platte on Monday and Tuesday.  The team was led by Logan Eschliman who shot 92 and 96 to place in a tie for 18th place overall.

Blue Angels Trivia Night

Lincoln Lutheran Blue Angels Trivia Night: Test your fun fact knowledge and support Lincoln Lutheran's Blue Angels Dance Team at Trivia Night, Friday, Nov. 17, at Faith Lutheran Church, 8701 Adams Street. A silent auction of fun items for all interests begins at 6:30 p.m. with the trivia game starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15 per person or a table of 10 for $150. To purchase tickets or a table, contact Christina Onnen at 402-525-4329.

Upcoming College Representatives

Upcoming college admissions representatives:  Wednesday 10/18-Nebraska Wesleyan.  Juniors or Seniors who would like to visit with these reps should get a pass from the office.

No School Friday 10/20

There is no school on Friday, October 20 for Quarter Break. Please note that the office will be open that day during the hours of 10 am - 2 pm.

Congrats to Girls Softball on Wins at State!

Congratulations to the Crete-LL Softball co-op for two big wins on the opening day of play for the 2017 Girls Softball State Tournament in Hastings. The team beat Hastings 5 -2 in the first round and went on to beat Seward 6-5. Crete/LL will continue play in the Championship bracket tonight at 7 pm as they face off against Gretna. Blue Sheet Clarification

If your student will be gone for 2-3 full blocks or a full day due to a "planned" event (vacation, college visit, etc), please email the front desk so that we can give the student a Blue Sheet. The request needs to be a couple days prior to the "planned" event. This allows them to take it to the teachers to get their assignments and the teachers to plan. 

HS VB defeated DC Aquinas

All 3 volleyball teams were successful last night by defeating D.C. Aquinas. The Reserves team won in 2 sets and the JV won in an exciting match that went 3 sets! The Varsity defeated the Monarchs 3-1 by scores of 24-26,  25-8, 25-19,  25-14, so after a bit of a rough start the Warriors took charge to finish out the match. Hope Leimbach put up 50 set assists (season high) and 11 digs, Erin Williams also contributed 18 digs.

MS VB Results

The MS Volleyball team played Wahoo on Tuesday, October 10th.  The C team won 3 out of 4 sets and the B team lost in 3 sets.  There was a battle between the A teams. The MS Wahoo A team has not lost to an opponent in 5 straight years. Last night the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors jumped on them quick and never looked back on the 1st set. The second set was a real battle with the Wahoo Warriors.  They were ahead of LL for the majority of the set but LL rallied from a score of 22-24 to win 26-24.   Congrats to the A Team!

MS Boys BB Parent Meeting 10/17

If you singed up your son to play in 7th & 8th grade Boys Basketball, please plan on coming to an informational parents meeting on Tues., Oct. 17th at 6 pm in the Commons. We will discuss the season and make plans for the Champions program for this age group. School Pictures Re-Take 10/18

School pictures were delivered to all the students during the AP/Access class on Monday, 10/9. Please note, if you didn't get an order in ahead of time, your student should have received an envelope with a proof sheet in it. To order pictures, or to order more pictures you may do so using the website Simply enter your student Portrait ID and Access Code that are listed on the proof sheet.  If you aren't happy with the pictures, you will need to return the entire picture packet on the day of picture re-takes, Wednesday, Oct. 18th.

COT First Event 10/21

HS Volleyball Results

The Varsity team had two great performances in their matches at the Conference Tournament on Saturday. They defeated both teams in 2 sets. They took down #1 seed Archbishop Bergan 25-18, 25-19, and then went on to defeat the #5 seed Bishop Neumann 25-13, 27-25. Great work Warriors!!
