LL 2015 Student Hunger Drive Winners!

LL recently joined with other area high schools to fight hunger in the community by participating in the Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive. LL students stepped up to the challenge by collecting 2,234 pounds of food and enjoyed friendly competitions between their AP and Access classes. Most importantly, this will provide 1,869 meals to local needy families!

Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive

Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive: Lincoln Lutheran is joining with other area high schools in fighting hunger in our communities through participation in the Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive.  The fall months are when the food pantries are the most in need.  National Honor Society members are teaming up with Student Council to head up Lincoln Lutheran's collection of food items for this worthwhile event.

NSAA Believers & Achievers Award Winner

Each year every school in the state has an opportunity to nominate two senior students for the US Bank and NSAA Believers and Achievers award. This year's LL nominees for this award are two outstanding students, Caleb Ziems and Kate Staab. This year, for only the second time in the history of Lincoln Lutheran, one of our students was selected as a state winner for the award, one of only 48 students so honored. They will be recognized in NSAA publications, at NSAA State Championship events, and on posters displayed in US Bank branches. Congratulations to Kate Sta
