Juniors & Seniors Dual Credit Meeting presented by Concordia University

Health Professions Career Workshop

Students interesed in a career in health care that will be Juniors next year should see Mrs. Cassiday for an application to the UNMC Summer Health Professions Career Workshop.  Dates are July 31-Aug. 3 and the cost is $275.  Applications are due June 1.  A 3.0 GPA minimum is required to apply.

Vet Camp

6-8 grade students interested in caring for animals can attend a Vet Camp this summer.  The camp is at UNL's East Campus June 11-15.  Cost is $225.  Pick up a flier at the office for more information.

Summer Computer Course

Students interested in taking the summer computer course should pick up a registration form at the office.  This class will waive the 1st computer graduation requirement.  Cost is $225.  Space is limited and the first 20 paid students will be guaranteed a spot in the class.

Leadership Lincoln

HS students interested in being a part of Leadership Lincoln for the 12-13 school year should see Mrs. Cassiday for an application.  Deadline for submitting the application is May 18.

HuskerVision Internship

Any current senior who has already been accepted to UNL should speak to Mrs. Cassiday if interested in applying for a student video internship with HuskerVision.  This opportunity is for students who are interested in pursuing a career in video production.
 

June ACT Test Prep

L.L. students can attend an ACT test prep course at Creighton University Saturdays and Sundays in May.  An ACT prep orientation will be held on April 29 @ 3pm at the Hixson Lied Science Building at Creighton.  The classes are Sat. May 5, 12, 19 & June 2 from 1-5pm OR Sun. May 6, 13, 20 and June 3 from 1-5pm at the Hixson Science Building.  Check in the office about a discount for the classes. 

Senior Summer Internship

Any graduating senior pursuing a manufacturing-related education at a technical school or four-year college/university should visit with Mrs. Cassiday to get contact information for a potential summer internship.  An opportunity to work in the manufacturing field will give a boost to a resume and provide experience in the field of manufacturing.  Please come and see Mrs. Cassiday if interested.

Academy & Military Info Day
