Attorney General's Youth Advisory Council

Juniors & Seniors are invited to apply for the Attorney General's Youth Advisory Council.  The mission of the AGYAC is to:

- provide ongoing and direct input on government policies and practices that may affect teenagers

- recommend and foster initiatives for and by youth

- encourage youth to become active participants in their local and state government; and

- promote and give recognition to the abilities, accomplishments and contributions of young people in their communities.

Health Professions Career Workshop

Students interesed in a career in health care that will be Juniors next year should see Mrs. Cassiday for an application to the UNMC Summer Health Professions Career Workshop.  Dates are July 31-Aug. 3 and the cost is $275.  Applications are due June 1.  A 3.0 GPA minimum is required to apply.

Vet Camp

6-8 grade students interested in caring for animals can attend a Vet Camp this summer.  The camp is at UNL's East Campus June 11-15.  Cost is $225.  Pick up a flier at the office for more information.

Summer Computer Course

Students interested in taking the summer computer course should pick up a registration form at the office.  This class will waive the 1st computer graduation requirement.  Cost is $225.  Space is limited and the first 20 paid students will be guaranteed a spot in the class.

Leadership Lincoln

HS students interested in being a part of Leadership Lincoln for the 12-13 school year should see Mrs. Cassiday for an application.  Deadline for submitting the application is May 18.
