Lincoln College Fair

Spring College Fair will help students begin college search efforts. It is encouraged for sophomores and juniors to attend. The Lincoln College Fair will be held at Lincoln Northeast High School at 2634 North 63rd Street from 6:30-8:00pm. Senior High Regional Science Fair

Eighteen Lincoln Lutheran senior high student participated in the annual Junior Academy Southeastern Regional Science Fair.  This year the regional was hosted by Doane College.  Students who participated were:  Hannah Bell, Casey Blum, Ethan Bruggeman, J.D. Dredge, Paul Gebers, Natalie Griess, Kayleigh Hennington, Kory Kohlhoff, Chase Latham, Kayla Lokie, Brandon Maier, Sam Malan, Jayden Martin, Andrew Polk, Jacob Rappa, Paul Rasmussen, Cassaundra Trumbley, and Micah Wiegert.  All of these students are to be commended for having the initiative of pursuing independent experimental research.  Special congratulations to Ethan Bruggeman and Chase Latham who both broke the 2nd round of judging.  Both also earned medals in the competition -- Chase won 2nd place & Ethan 3rd place.  No senior high warriors were selected to compete at the state competition this year but all represented LL well!!!

NJAS Regional Science Fair

Executive Summary: 
Bus departure from LL is 7:30 a.m. Registration is 8:00-9:00. Estimated time of awards ceremony is 1:30.

All Lincoln Lutheran high school students who have completed a science fair project participate in this competition.  Qualifying middle school participants are invited.  Registration is 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. @ the Lied Science & Mathematics Building.  Judging begins @ 9:00.  Students should plan to eat lunch at the Doane cafeteria ($6.12 fee).   The awards ceremony will follow the 2nd round of judging -- 1:30 (est.).  Estimated return time to LL 3:00 p.m.

Students Commit to Success

Often people believe that teens aren't invested in their education.  This morning, 33 teens showed up at 7:00am to begin ACT sessions. This marks the largest turnout for these offered sessions over the past three years.  Those attending have made the commitment to improve their test scores, even if it means less of prized morning sleep.   Those making the commitment are:

Wednesday, October 14th is Testing Day for Grades 8-11. Listed below are the grades and activities they will be involved in. School will dismiss at 12:00 on that day. Students will not be allowed to leave before Noon. There will be NO After School Care.

Concordia's Dual Credit Program

Lincoln Lutheran is offering nine courses for dual credit with Concordia University. Juniors and Seniors will have the opportunity to complete 29 credit hours before entering college. 

Cost is $75 per credit hour. 

Students may then transfer the credits from Concordia to their college of choice. 

The courses offered are:
 
  • Eng 102:   Experiences in Writing (LL English 4) – 3 Credit Hours 
  • Eng 201:   Introduction to Literature (LL English 4) – 3 Credit Hours
