JV Football Win at Yutan

The JV Football team came home with a win on Monday, Sept. 28th in their game against Yutan. Final score was Warriors 27 to Yutan Chieftains 6. Warriors Strong!

Congratulations to Harrison Martin and Elijah Kouma for receiving All-State Class C-1 Honorable Mention Football Awards for the 2014 season.

Lincoln Lutheran is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head Football Coach.  The Warriors are members of the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and compete in Class C-1.  Qualified candidates should have experience coaching high school football, and should possess strong communication, organizational, motivational, and coaching skills.

Varsity Football Team Wins Home Debut

In its home debut of the 2013 season, the Warrior football team gave the Lincoln Lutheran faithful a great show as they defeated Douglas County West 47-26.  On the opening kick-off, junior Benjamin Schmeling raced through the Falcon coverage for a 77 yard touchdown return.  Harrison Martin’s successful point-after-attempt made it 7-0.  Schmeling again scored on a 28 yard touchdown run, and, with Martin’s kick conversion, the score was 14-0.  D.C.
