Girls Soccer Results - Monday, Apr. 18

The entire Lady Warriors squad contributed to the 10--0 win against Auburn. Six of the ten goals were scored by our Norwegian contingent. Tara Ziegelbein and Sara Mach teamed up for the shutout.

Girls Soccer Results - Friday, Apr. 8

The Lady Warriors battled against Pius X on Friday, April 8.  The teams were scoreless at halftime.  Pius went on to win 2-0.  The Lady Warriors played a good game and set the stage for the second half of the season.

Lady Warriors defeat Schuyler

On Tuesday, April 12 the Lady Warriors took on Schuyler. With a tough schedule the past two weeks, the Warriors felt more prepared and were ready for a win. The Warriors' only worry was the physical-ness that Schuyler brings every year. Having that in mind the girls played through and overcame the physical contact, and kept control of the ball for much of the first half. With many shots on goal however, both teams went into halftime with nil points.

The Lady Warrior soccer team came up short in their match against Columbus Scotus on Tuesday:  8-1.

The Lady Warrior soccer team came up short in their match against Elkhorn on Saturday:  5-0.

Girls JV & V Soccer Results - Thursday, Mar. 31

The Lady Warriors battled against Omaha Mercy and came up short on the score board for both the JV and Varsity games.  The Varsity lost 4-0, but played a strong second half against a fast and talented Mercy squad. The JV game dropped their contest 1 - 0, however showed their ability to move the ball effectively against the Mercy defense. The next contest for the Lady Warriors is against Columbus Scotus at 5 pm at Spirit Park. Come out and cheer on the Lady Warriors.

Girls JV & V Soccer Results - Tuesday, Mar. 29

On Tuesday, the JV and Varsity women's teams were successful on the scoreboard. The JV won 5-0 and the varsity won 3-0 over the Blue Jays of Seward. The coaches were impressed with the play of the JV. They moved the ball well, had many good crosses and our defense was rock solid not allowing a shot on goal. The varsity team started out a little slow, but turned up the heat after the first 25 minutes to record a solid victory. Twenty players recorded played time and contributed to the victory!!! GO WARRIORS!!!!

Girls JV Soccer Results - Tuesday, Mar. 22

The girls JV soccer team started out slow, but as the girls started getting used to playing with one another against another team, they improved and got stronger.  The strength of their game started with defense.  The Lady Warriors defeated Waverly 4-0.

HS Girls Soccer

The Lady Warriors started their season on Saturday, March 19, with a tough loss to York in the first round of the tournament. Junior Makayla Ptaschek scored the only goal for the girls in the first half. The Lady Warriors faced some challenges in the second half with the harsh conditions of wind and rain, and York tied the game 1-1. Going straight into a shoot out, the Lady Warriors lost with a final score of 2-1. In the second round, the Lady Warriors stepped it up to win with a victory of 6-0 against Nebraska Lutheran-Waco.
