HS VB Results

The Warriors went 2-0 on Thursday as they swept Beatrice in their first match of the night at the Norris triangular 25-17, 25-16. The Warriors took a commanding lead in the second set with Lexie Kreizel’s 5 ace serves. Marriah Buss has 23 kills, Hope Leimbach had 22 assists and 3 blocks, Erin Williams put up 14 digs. In the Norris match the Warriors came from behind and beat the Titans 25-21, with Marriah Buss leading in kills with 19, Ella Moll added 6 kills. Hope Leimbach had 30 set assists, and Erin Williams put up 18 digs. Lincoln Lutheran is now 29-3.


Reserve & JV VB Results

The Reserve Volleyball team and the JV Volleyball team seasons ended on Monday, October 22nd against Class B Beatrice and Norris. The Reserve team won both games against the Norris and Beatrice reserve teams. They ended their season with a 13-2 record.  The JV team won against Beatrice in two sets but lost to a tough Norris team in two very close sets. Congrats to a great season!

HS VB Results

Congratulations to the Reserves team on going 3-0 and winning the Seward Tournament on Saturday! They beat Hastings St. Cecilia in 3 sets for the championship. And also to the Varsity team on taking the Runner-up plaque at the Lincoln Christian Tournament, going 2-1, falling to Wahoo in the championship match.

All 3 HS Volleyball teams had a successful night Tuesday in their matches vs DC Aquinas. The Reserves team won their match in 3 sets 25-20, 23-25, and then bounced back for the 16-14 win! The JV team won their 1st set 25-16, and then had a 2nd set come from behind win 25-22! In the Varsity match, the team won all 3 sets 25-20, 25-20, and 25-8 dominating the 3rd set.

LL Warriors Take 3rd - Conference VB

Congrats to the Warriors on their solid 3rd place finish in the Centennial Conference Tournament! The team made it to the semi-finals, but fell to #4 GICC in the 3rd set with scores of 25-19, 23-25, and 22-25. The team bounced back and took a decisive win over #2 Archbishop Bergan 25-15, 25-16.

HS Volleyball Results 10/4

The Varsity team defeated Kearney Catholic on Thursday night 25-22, 25-13 to advance to the final four of the Centennial Conference Tournament, which will continue on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Lincoln Christian. The Warriors will take on GICC at 12:30pm and then advance to either the Championship match or 3rd place match, both to be held at 3:00pm in one of their two gyms. Please come out and cheer on the Warriors in their quest to be Conference Champions!!

Varsity VB Champions at Ashland-Greenwood

The #1 Lincoln Lutheran Warriors held off the #2 Wahoo Warriors on Saturday in the championship match of the Ashland-Greenwood tournament. The team went undefeated and did not drop a set in pool play or tournament play, going 5-0, And putting their record now at 22–1 for the season. Hope Leimbach lead in set assists, Marriah Buss and Josie Puelz in kills, Erin Williams in digs. 

Congrats ladies as you take the #1 seed in to the Centennial Conference Tournament this week! Go Warriors!!

HS VB Results

The Warriors improved their volleyball season record to 19–1 by posting 2 wins at the Ashland-Greenwood Tournament on Thursday. After a slow start the Warriors came charging back and defeated Plattsmouth 25-16, 25-15 with a balanced attack.  Marriah Buss put down 9 Kills and Josie Puelz 6 kills, Hope Leimbach had 19 set assists, and Paige Trutna scored a run of points, including 3 ace serves. In the second match of the evening Lincoln Lutheran beat Omaha Roncalli 25-13, 24-17. The Warriors has 12 ace serves in the match, led by Marriah Buss with 6 ace serves and 12 kills.
