Fruit Sale Ending Soon

The last day to order fruit from the Music students is Monday, November 16th.

Music Department

The Lincoln Lutheran Music Department will be selling fruit again this year.  It would be delivered around December 10th,  just in time for Christmas. You can contact any student in choir or band to take your order or email Lois Scholl at for an order form.  Orders and money need to be turned into to Mr. Wilhelm by Monday, November 16, 2009. 

Music Department Soup Supper

"Thank you" to everyone who supported the Lincoln Lutheran Music Department by attending the soup supper and concert last night.  A special "thank you" goes out to Doug and Tammi Wiemer for all of their help in the kitchen, all of the volunteers who cooked, setup, served, cleaned, and donated bars and cookies for this event,  and to Mr. Wilhelm and Miss Wisroth for putting on a fabulous concert.

Fall Soup Supper

We are in need of volunteers for the Lincoln Lutheran Fall Soup Supper which will be held on Monday, November 9th at 5:30 p.m.  The MS/HS Music Concert will follow at 7:00 p.m.  Below is a list of areas where volunteers are needed.

  • Coooking (4-5:30 p.m.)
  • Setup (4-5:30 p.m.)
  • Serving (5:15-6:15 or 6:00-7:00 p.m.)
  • Cleanup (6:00-7:30 p.m.)

Mark your calendars for Lincoln Lutheran's Fall Music Concerts on November 9th, 2009. Soup supper begins at 5:30 (Freewill offering) with the concert to start at 7:00pm in the main gym.

Mr. Jared Wilhelm

Jared Wilhelm began teaching at Lincoln Lutheran in 2004. His first teaching experience was student teaching at Lincoln High. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. While Mr. Wilhelm was growing up, he lived with his older brother and sister. His sister was the oldest and was involved in a lot of concert bands and marching bands in high school and college. His brother spent some time in sports, mainly intramural, and went on to study architecture at the University of Nebraska and in London. Mr.

All State Choir Audition Cuts Announced


Below is the auditon cut release for tomorrows All State audition.  Read carefully.

Attention Choral Audition Students:

Have your three pieces of music opened to the correct page and ready to go in order when you walk in to the audition room.


The first excerpt will begin immediately following the completion of the scales and arpeggios.  Be ready to move on to the next excerpt when you have completed the previous one.


There are about 6 seconds of time between the ending of the arpeggios and the beginning of excerpt #1 accompaniment, about 4 seconds from the end of excerpt #1 until the beginning of excerpt #2 accompaniment, and about 3 seconds from the end of excerpt #2 to the beginning of excerpt #3 accompaniment.
