Where is Your Mind At?

“I don’t have a funny story or a video clip to tie into today’s message, it’s a little bit more serious,” said Scott Guenther, the Youth Director at Messiah Lutheran Church and School. The reading for Friday’s chapel was Romans 8: 1-11. We sang "Here I am to Worship" as a student body. Scott’s message was one that everyone on that room could relate to. He put questions in the back of our heads that are worth thinking about.

 

Kickoff Worship

Calvary Lutheran, at the corner of 28th and Franklin, was the location of a kickoff worship service the morning of August 10. Administrators, teachers and school support staff from Lincoln Lutheran, Faith, Christ, Messiah, Good Shepherd, and Trinity joined together for a time of food and fellowship prior to the service.
