Trinity Church Hosts Dinner

All men and boys of Trinity and their male friends, purchase tickets now for a Windsor Loin Dinner on March 13 @ 5:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church fellowship hall.  Enjoy two speakers during the evening:  Tim Marlow, UNL Running Back and Isaiah Bockelman, Lincoln Lutheran point guard.  Tickets are $5 per person.  See Mr. Ziems for tickets. 
 

Dance Clinic for 1-5 Grades

The Blue Angels dance team will be hosting their annual dance clinic for students in 1st – 5th grade on Saturday, March 5th from 10 am - 2 pm.  The registration fee of $25 includes lunch, a t-shirt, poms, signed Blue Angels poster, and free admission to the Blue Angels dance show. Registration forms are available on the Lincoln Lutheran website or by contacting Lisa Burger at 467-5404 ext 258 or lburger@lincolnlutheran.org. Registrations are due by Wednesday, February 23rd.

Kindergarten Kickoff at Trinity

Kindergarten Kickoff for Trinity Lutheran School will be held on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7:00pm in the gym.  All families with a child enrolling in Kindergarten for the 2011-2012 school year are encouraged to attend!  For more information or to reserve a spot, please call Becky Anderson at 466-1800.

If you are considering enrolling your child in Christ Schools for the upcoming 2011-12 school year in Kindergarten-Grade 5, then you will want to mark your calendars for Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 6:30 pm in the Christ Schools Library, 43rd & Sumner.  You can learn more about Christ Schools’ programs and curriculum, meet its staff and tour our facilities.  Registration for the 2011-12 school year begins on Wednesday, Feb.

Lincoln Lutheran Discovered!

With 38 prospective families in attendance, Discover Lincoln Lutheran Night was a success. It opened with a devotion, emphasizing the school's focus - to keep Christ at the center. Current students then led the parents to a variety of classrooms, where teachers described the classes they taught. Through this process, the parents were able to see what their children would experience as Warriors. They could understand how every year of school would build onto what was learned the year before.

Life Walk - January 29

Join Pro Life supporters on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 10am for the 2011 Life Walk.  The featured speaker will be Melissa Ohden, an abortion survivor.  Meet on the west side of the capital.  You are also welcome to meet at 9:30am at Trinity church in the fellowship hall for prayer and then walk to the capital as a group. 

Holiday SCRIP Ordering

Monday, Dec. 13 is the last day to place an order for SCRIP before Christmas.  Orders placed by 4pm on Dec. 13 will be available to pick up on Dec. 16.  After Dec. 16, you can get SCRIP two ways:  check with the L.L. office in their "on-hand" inventory or call /  email Troy Jurgens at 440-0222 /  troyjurgens.scrip@gmail.com

Box Tops for Education

Lincoln Lutheran does participate in the Box Top for Education program and would appreciate your efforts in collecting the box tops off many food items.  You can also earn more box tops and enter contests to receive more for our school by visiting www.boxtops4education.com.  Bring them into the office.  We also collect Campbell soup labels.
