L.L. Warrior Students Participate in JDFR Walk

On Sunday, Sept 26, 20 Lincoln Lutheran students participated in the JDFR walk in support of Ashlee Ernst.  Over fifty walkers, which included the 20 L.L. students, joined Ashlee at the walk.  Ashlee would like to thank Mrs. Ziegler and her fellow classmates for a successful JDRF Walk on Sunday!

Sophomore Ashlee Ernst recognized by Governor Heineman

Lincoln Lutheran Sophomore Ashlee Ernst was recognized by Governor Heineman, Monday, Sept 20 at the Governor's Mansion for sharing her experiences as a teenager with Diabetes to Nebraska State Employees.  Ashlee has been essential in educating others during the annual charity giving campaign on the programs available to families within the State of Nebraska.

Two L.L. students named as members of the Junior Youth Orchestra

Lincoln Lutheran 8th grader Hailey Moy and 9th grader Jackson Stoneman were accepted as new members of the 2010-2011 Junior Youth Orchestra (JYO) in Lincoln.  Their auditions were held last week. 

Hailey is in the viola section of the orchestra and Jackson is in the percussion section.  Congratulations on your achievement!

Senior Taylor Katt named a "Believer and Achiever"

Senior Taylor Katt has been named a "Believer and Achiever" by the Nebraska Schools Activities Association (NSAA).  Schools from across Nebraska nominate senior students for this award.  Taylor is one of only 48 students to be selected as a winner and is only the second Lincoln Lutheran student to ever win this award.  He will be featured in an upcoming edition of the NSAA Bulletin.

Chapel Music Meeting

Mr. Schoettlin is looking for students who are interested in assisting with music and sound for chapel. If you play an instrument (guitar, keyboard, drums, etc.) or can sing, or if you would like to help run the sound board, there will be an information meeting on Thursday morning at 7:30am in room 00.
