LL Students participate in Lincoln Walk for Life

On Saturday, January 14th, amid 20 degree temperatures, 11 Lincoln Lutheran students participated in the 2017 Lincoln Walk for Life.  They listened to pro-life speeches at the capitol and got to hear Ben Sasse speak about his faith walk at Trinity Church before the event was over. As pictured, Priscilla, Trinity's Comfort Dog, even made an appearance! Thank you to the following students for stepping out and making a stand in our community!

New Prices for Granola & Juice

Due to a change in the cost of the granola bars we buy, we are having to make a change in our pricing. Students wishing to purchase granola bars and/or juice boxes at the front desk will now have two options: 2 items for $.75 or 3 for $1. You may purchase up to $1 worth of items, but they may be in any combination. We are no longer selling just one of anything.

See You at the Pole 2016

Lincoln Lutheran joined in "See You at the Pole" which was celebrated on September 28, 2016. See You at the Pole (SYATP) is an annual gathering of Christian students of all ages at a flagpole in front of their local school for prayer, scripture-reading and hymn-singing, during the early morning before school starts. The American SYATP events occur on every fourth Wednesday of September. The events began in 1990, in the United States, where public schools cannot sponsor prayers and some Christians see public schools as hostile to Christian students.

Bryan Health Awards $90,000 to Future Health Care Providers

Lincoln, NE (September 8, 2016) – Bryan Health today awarded $90,000 to Lincoln and Crete schools to assist students pursuing careers in health care. The event served as the capstone of Bryan’s 90 Acts of Kindness this summer, in celebration of its 90th anniversary.

Schools receiving gifts today include:

·         College View Academy, $5,000

·         Crete Public Schools, $10,000

The Silver Ring Thing

On Wednesday, September 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Lincoln Berean Church will host The Silver Ring Thing, an event that will challenge middle school students with the values of purity and abstaining from sex until marriage.  Included with this event is a parent session which informs parents about the attitudes of today's youth culture and how they can support their child's commitment to purity.
