Cross Country Teams Start a Strong Season at Seward Thorell Invitational.

The Lincoln Lutheran High School cross country boys and girls teams opened up the 2009 season in Seward Thursday at the Thorell Invitational. Fifteen (15) teams competed including three Class B teams and three Class A teams with both fields numbering about 200 runners. The girls ran tough against the upper class competition finishing in 7th place lead by Karstin Ptaschek's 25th place in a time of 17:47.5, followed closely by Paige Orth, 27th in 17:52.22. Finishing in third for the warriors was Anne Heibel, 36th in 18:12.9, followed by 39th, Erin Heiden, 18:24.8, Kayla Asche, 54th, 18:58.5, Julie Gyland, 71st, 19:31.5, Lexie Volk, 80th, 19:46.2, Hanna Dowling, 97th, 20:22.2, Makayla Patschek, 103rd, 20:34.6, Meredith Hein, 112th, 20:56.8, Laura Rasmussen, 139th, 22:12.8, Andrea Paul, 145th, 22:32.9, Rachel Royuk, 151st, 22:40.7, and Jenna Ripke, 159th, 23:07.4. The girls finished ahead of preseason 6th ranked Milford, and just behind the Lincoln North Star Class A girls by 5 points.

Lincoln Lutheran Delegate Assembly

Delegates for the Lincoln Lutheran School Association will convene in the school's Main Gym at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night, September 3, 2009.  This is the first of two required assembly meetings for the 2009-10 school year.  The agenda for this Delegate Assembly will include ratification of board members, financial reports and ratification of the 2009-10 final budget, and general reports/updates about the activities of the school.  The Delegates will convene at 7:00 for pre-meeting updates with their Congregational Board Representatives to the LLSA Board of Directors.  These meets allow Delegates to get a preview of the information to be shared and as questions of their individual Board Representative.
