Discover Lincoln Lutheran

A big THANK YOU to all who joined us on Thursday, January 21st for the Discover Lincoln Lutheran Night.  The Lincoln Lutheran faculty and staff were joined by 50 families.

The night started off with an informational session in the school gym.  Principal Matt Heibel introduced all of the faculty and staff.  Both he and Scott Ernstmeyer, Executive Director, spoke briefly about the mission at Lincoln Lutheran in that we all strive to provide a Christ-centered education to prepare our students for college and beyond with a strong foundation in Christ.  Two students shared their experiences at Lincoln Lutheran; Olivia Oetting is a senior and Taylor Katt is a Junior.  Parents were also invited to speak.  Cliff Kriezel is a newer part of the Lincoln Lutheran family as his daughter is a new 6th grader.  Mr. Kriezel also helps out with the football team. Neil and Ruth Lohmeyer also spoke about the experience that their two children have had at Lincoln Lutheran and how it has helped them be fully prepared for college.

All of the prospective students and families joined Lincoln Lutheran student volunteers for a tour of the school.  They visited all of the classrooms, meeting rooms, and even the gym locker rooms.

The night concluded with a time of fellowship in the commons area.  Snacks and drinks were served and prospective students and families had the opportunity to visit with each other and have their questions answered by the teachers.
