Deferred GiftsDeferred gifts are those that are put in place while the donor is alive, but the charity does not receive the use of the gift until some point in the future. These can take the form of trust funds, insurance policies or designations in wills. "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." LLSA Foundation has access to personnel who can work with potential deferred gift donors. These gifts often times provide a tax benefit to the donor or the donor's estate. We would be glad to have a representative of the Foundation contact you to discuss with you, and perhaps your attorneys or tax accountants, the best way for you to leave a legacy of commitment to Lutheran Education. Please fill out the form below and we will contact you at your convenience.
