Spencer Farley Chosen To CouncilGov. Dave Heineman has selected Lincoln Lutheran student, Spencer Farley, as a member of the Govenor’s Youth Advisory Council. The council is made up of twenty-five young people ages fourteen to nineteen who represent the social, economic, racial and ethnic backgrounds of all Nebraskans. Members meet every three months to focus on issues or current legislation of interest to young Nebraskans - education, finance, careers and employment, recreation, health, drug and alcohol abuse, foster care and more.

Music Students Selling SweatpantsThe Lincoln Lutheran High School Music students will be selling sweatpants before the holidays. Orders for these sweatpants will be taken now through Friday, December 5th. The sweatpants will be GRAY in color with LINCOLN LUTHERAN printed down the side on one leg in BLUE. Samples will be available for viewing on Monday, December 1, through Thursday, December 4th, immediately after school (3:30-4:00 p.m.), in the Commons. The sweatpants are available in Adult sizes S, M, L, XL ($18) and XXL ($20). Youth sizes are S(6-8), M(10-12), and L(14-16) and are $14 each. Please check with a Lincoln Lutheran music student to order yours TODAY. Health News Alert
According to the incubation time table for pertussis any middle school student that is infected should be getting a cough between now and Dec. 5th. This is a distinct persistent dry annoying cough that cannot be suppressed with medication. There is a 15-20% chance of getting pertussis if you have been vaccinated and have had close contact with an infected individual. And a student of your choice can get tuition credit for using SCRIP...plus you help Lincoln Lutheran. Thanksgiving schedule: Orders must be submitted by Sunday, November 23rd and will be processed Wednesday, November 26th.
Holiday schedule: Last Order Date: Monday, December 15th. Orders will be processed on Thursday, December 18th. There will be no orders placed until January 5th, 2009, and those orders will be filled on January 8th, 2009. We will have limited amounts of available SCRIP on hand. Please keep Lincoln Lutheran in mind in you are out and about shopping on Friday, November 28th - we could use items for our silent and live auction at our annual Gala event. Some great ideas are electronics, housewares, etc. Contact Amy or Lori in the office for additional information. Lincoln Lutheran Annual Fund DriveWherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will be also. Matthew 6:21 In the upcoming weeks, you will be seeing information regarding our Annual Fund Drive. Our goal for this first year is $100,000 and we hope to have 60%-75% pledged by December 31, 2008. Since this is new, we are including some information to answer your questions.

welcoming, and helpful attitude is necessary. Multi-tasking is essential
for this position. Proficiency and etiquette with a multi-line phone system,
