painting and printmaking allows students to experiment with wet media in the form of acrylic paint, watercolors, printmaking and mixed media. Students will develop a theme for their work, which will be carried through the series in each media to create a body of work. Students will work representational, abstract and conceptual creations. Students will engage in brainstorming, individual and group work, research, collections, problem solving, self and peer evaluation, reflection and constructive criticism.
