Course topics include complex numbers, step and piecewise functions, exponential functions, quadratic functions, inverse functions, right triangles, trigonometric functions, and circles, as well as data analysis and modeling. Students approach and explore topics in math through real-world situations, helping them to gain an intuitive understanding of concepts while learning at the appropriate depth and rigor of a standards-based curriculum. Formative assessments help students to understand areas of weakness and improve performance, while summative assessments chart progress and skill development.
