We Are God's Doers

On Friday, October 9th chapel was given by Mr. Stoltenow.  The topic of this chapel was remembering that we are God's doers.  The text that helps us remember this is Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  This means that as Christians, we are meant to show others the love of God by how we act and how we live our lives.  We are meant to live our lives according to God's will.

As Christians we are the "workmanship" of God created by Him and for Him.  However, this doesn't mean that life will be easy just because we live our lives for God or for His will.  We will still have obstacles and distractions to overcome.  We all have distractions in our lives such as sports, school, church activities, and much much more that may cause us to be distracted from God's will and plan for our lives.  The important message to remember is that God has made us for a purpose and He never gives us more than we can handle in our lives.  With God, we are able to overcome any challenge or obstacle that stands in our way, so that we are able to live our lives for God and be His doers.
