English 2

Course Number:
1120/1121

This course continues the development of process writing, with continued focus on fluency, word choice, organization and creativity. In addition, it begins to tap into the synthesis and analysis of ideas in a departure from strictly pathos or moralistic writing. The use of novels, both fiction and non-fiction, playwrights and the completion of five speeches will shape how students use their voice for a purpose.
