Giving Thanks with Thankful Turkeys

The Student Council continued their November tradition of selling "Thankful Turkeys" from November 6-20.  Those who participated purchased a paper turkey for $1, and then wrote things for which they are thankful on them, so they could be added to the display in the East Entrance of the school.  This year, the project was designated to benefit the People's City Mission.

Each meal served at the PCM has a cost of approximately $2.50.  Because of the support for the "Thankful Turkey" effort, Lincoln Lutheran staff and students helped to provide 125 meals just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Thank you to all who helped to support this valuable way to assist others in our Lincoln community!
