This course focuses on Christ as the foundation of the Church, and follows the growth of the Church from the time of the Apostles to the present day. It studies how God acted directly in history to bring about our salvation, the problems and issues faced by the Church, and how these relate to problems and issues faced by the Church today. The class covers topics such as the life of Christ, the Acts of the Apostles, the Church in the Roman Empire, the Medieval Church and the Reformation, and Christian persecution.
