This course focuses on the basic teachings of the Christian Church, with emphasis on how to articulate and defend Christian doctrine to the world. Students will learn the basic Christian doctrine that unites the whole Christian Church, as well as the specific doctrinal viewpoint of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and its corresponding Scriptural basis. Additionally, students will explore a number of different world religions and worldviews, and compare the teachings of these religions to the Christian faith.
