Why should your student attend Lincoln Lutheran?
The Lincoln Lutheran mission statement, “Lincoln Lutheran exists to equip young people to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ by providing an excellent, Christ-centered education” addresses this question.
• Lincoln Lutheran equips young people to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ not only through daily religion classes and twice-weekly chapel services, but through teachers who integrate their faith into classroom teaching and their daily interactions with students. In addition to the examples seen at school every day, required community service helps students learn how to serve Christ in their everyday lives.
• Lincoln Lutheran provides a comprehensive, Christ-centered, college preparatory education that enables students to be successful in life. Smaller class sizes allow teachers to know students on a more personal level and more accurately meet each student’s educational needs. We currently offer ten dual-credit courses for junior and senior students, allowing them to earn up to 32 hours of college credit through Concordia University-Nebraska while taking classes at Lincoln Lutheran. Our graduates are prepared for success in college, as indicated by our student’s ACT scores, which are the highest in the Lincoln area.
• Lincoln Lutheran offers a wide range of extracurricular activities for students, including opportunities in athletics, music, speech and drama, cheer and dance, and different clubs and organizations. Students are encouraged, and have the opportunity to, be involved in several different activities during the school year.
