Blue Angels Take State

The 2012 Nebraska State Cheer & Dance Championships were held in Grand Island on Saturday, February 18. The Blue Angels won the competition with first place performances in both the pom and high kick categories! In the pom division they performed Fashion, a routine choreographed by Cayla Berry. The kick routine, Don't Stop Me Now, was choreographed by former Blue Angels members Jenna Karlin and Jami Watts.

Each team is allowed to enter two divisions, and the Blue Angels made school history this year with a double state dance championship.
