High School Cross Country

The 2014 Cross Country season starts with “good news and bad news”.  The bad news is we only have 13 total athletes on the team but the good news we have 9 returning letter winners on the team.  The team will be led by 2013 Class C State qualifiers senior Austin Peterson and sophomore Ryan Volin, both look to finish in the top 5 of most of our meets this year which we will be competing in Class D.  They are followed by 2013 varsity lettermen Jon Green, Caleb Ziems, Ben Downing, and Jonathan Kisker.  Freshman Evan Rich will also compete for a varsity spot in 2014.

On the girls side, Paige Steinbauer leads a group of talented runners looking to get back to State.  2013 varsity lettermen Paige Borcherding and Cassie Shambaugh-Miller will be competing with senior Brittany Sincebaugh, and freshmen newcomers Hannah Fitzsimmons and Paige Blankenbiller.
