High School Dance

The 2011-2012 Blue Angels Dance Team members were chosen in March after completing tryouts. They began practicing in June to prepare for their summer events and practiced twice a week throughout the summer. They attended the UDA camp at Creighton University this summer and brought home several awards for the team and individually.

The team has several fund raising activities to help pay for the uniforms and accessories and choreography. They will have their first annual Trivia Night in November and a Dance showcase in January where they invite surrounding schools to showcase their state routines and have professional feedback prior to performing at the State competition. They also sell Warrior Yard Signs, Car Decals and Warrior Spirit Stickers.

During the school year, the team performs during half-time of all the home football and basketball games. They also perform at various dance shows and competitions. Over the course of the last several years the Blue Angels Team has competed at the State Dance Competition held in Grand Island, Nebraska and has earned a double State Championship in both the Pom and High Kick routines choreographed by Cayla Berry and Jaime Watts and Jenna Karlin respectively.
