Gala & Live Auction

Join us on Saturday, March 12th for the 16th Annual Lincoln Lutheran Gala and Live Auction. The event will take place at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Lincoln. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 5:00 pm for the social hour and silent auction. The dinner will start at 6:30 pm with the live auction beginning at 8:00 pm.

The theme for this year is “One in Spirit and Purpose” based on Philippians 2:1-2 which is the 2009/2010 theme for the school year. Philippians 2:1-2 says “If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, and being one in spirit and purpose.” This verse teaches us that when we respond to Christ’s love by trusting in him, his purpose becomes our mission. Our Gala & Auction grows each year and our goal this year is $80,000. We will not reach our goal without your generosity.

How can you also be “One in Spirit and Purpose” and partake in this year’s Gala? First of all, we would love for you to attend! Ticket prices are $75 per person or $150 per couple. A few other options for reservations are the Hosted, Standard, and Premium Tables. The Hosted Table includes standard seating for 10 people at the Gala. The table host is responsible for finding 10 individuals (including themselves) who will purchase their tickets and sit at the same table. The Standard Table ($750) includes seating for ten individuals and a listing of your sponsorship in the Gala program. The Premium Table ($1000) includes preferred seating for eight at the table and a faculty member and guest will be seated with you. Your sponsorship will also include a ½ page advertisement in Gala program, the large screen during the event, and in the May issue of the Lincoln Lutheran Newsletter.

Another way you can help our students at Lincoln Lutheran is to make a donation. Whether that be through a monetary means, a physical item donation, or volunteering your time, we would love to have you help in this way as well.

Please call the School Office at 402-467-5404 and ask for Amy Jurgens or Carrie Merry to make a reservation, donate towards the Gala, or ask any questions.
