Student Council Finishes Another Year at L.L.

The Lincoln Lutheran Student Council continuously looks for new ways to make a positive impact on the school through their work. They are an activity that doesn't always receive very much attention for what they do. The Student Council has met every Thursday morning since the beginning of the year and they continue to serve as a way of communication between the student body and the faculty/administration. The kids involved are able to grow closer together as they try to help improve this school.

Some of the final activities of Stu-Co for this school year include the successful Blood Drive that was held on Wednesday, April 20.  50 units of blood were successfully collected, surpassing the 44 unit goal.  They are also busy preparing a final chapel message that will be given on Friday, May 13.

Elections for next years Student Council are approaching and kids are encouraged to apply for a spot. The leadership experience that occurs is positive and is worthwhile. While it takes a time committment to be involved with this activity, students are able to work alongside many other students who also want to help better their school. The Student Council at this school is something this school should be proud of. The sponsor of it, Ms. Bockelman, has done a wonderful in her time being in charge.

Applications for next year's 9-11 graders are due on Monday, May 9 by 3:30 pm.
