All-American Soccer Honors

Lincoln Lutheran is proud to announce that Kevin Soenksen and Taylor Katt have been named Lutheran High School All-American soccer players for the 2011 season. Because of Nebraska playing high school soccer in the spring, Kevin and Taylor (class of 2011) were not honored until this December. Kevin Soenksen, a first team Lutheran High School All-American is the son of Phil and Linda Soenksen, and currently plays soccer at Concordia University-Seward. Taylor Katt, a third team Lutheran High School All-American, is the son of Richard and Sharon Katt, and has continued his soccer career at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Selection for All-American status is based on such qualities as All-State, All-District, or All-Conference recognition, individual statistics (season and career), leadership, and team success and gives special attention to Lutheran High School students from all over the country and from all over the world who have excelled on the playing field. We would like to recognize and congratulate Kevin and Taylor for this honor and for their demonstration of Christian athletics.
