FCA leads chapel at Christ Lutheran School

On Thursday, April 18th, the FCA ambassadors led chapel at Christ Lutheran Schools at 8:45am. FCA had a great time preparing a message to share with the elementary students. The kids were so welcoming and loved listening and learning from high school student athletes.

The message that FCA led was centered around their theme for the year. The theme comes from the bible verse Romans 12:2- "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." FCA opened chapel with simple introductions and then led the kids in the song "Every Move I Make", which was enjoyed with actions by teachers, kids and the ambassadors. They then performed a skit to show that God made us just the way we are and we should not conform to the patterns of the world to fit in. The image of a transformer toy was used to show that every time we transform to the patterns of the world we end up not in our original form like God made us!
