Students visit the Seminary

Juniors, Jackson Stoneman and Joel Ebert, along with teachers, Mr. Schoettlin and Mr. Krall, used two days off from school last week to visit Concordia Seminary in Saint Louis, MO. The trip was organized by Mr. Schoettlin, and was intended to provide a sense of Seminary life for students and teachers who think that God might be directing them toward the pastoral ministry.

The group left on the morning of Thursday, April 25 to make the drive to Saint Louis. They had the opportunity to tour the Seminary campus and Clayton area on Thursday, as well as speak with admissions representatives, attend chapel, and visit classes on Friday. The group also took the time to experience some of the highlights of St. Louis, including Ted Drewes frozen custard, a Cardinals win over the Pittsburg Pirates, and a trip to the top of the Gateway Arch at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial.
