Congratulations to the Lady Warrior Golf Team!

The Lady Warrior varsity golf team completed their season with a 5th place finish in the fifteen team State Championship on Tuesday, Oct. 15.  The team total of 418 was twelve shots behind the winning team from Minden which totaled a 406 in the tightly contested championship.  The team was led by Klaire Nuttelman who shot a 94 to tie for 8th place overall.  Abbie Fahleson and Erika Smith each shot 107, and Haley Wineman added a 110 to complete the team scoring for the event.  The championship was shortened to one day because of the rough weather in Columbus, but the team competed very well in the difficult conditions.  The girl's improved five positions at the State tournament from last year's competition.

Overall, the team had an excellent season placing first in two invitationals, going undefeated in their duals, and finishing with a runner-up finish at Districts.
The girl's hard work paid off as each girl on the team achieved a personal best in competition at some point during the season.  Way to go girls!
