Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive

Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive: Lincoln Lutheran is joining with other area high schools in fighting hunger in our communities through participation in the Southeast Nebraska Student Hunger Drive.  The fall months are when the food pantries are the most in need.  National Honor Society members are teaming up with Student Council to head up Lincoln Lutheran's collection of food items for this worthwhile event.  The collection will begin on October 7th and run through November 6th so there is plenty of time to send food items to school with students or drop them off.

Community members can drop non-perishable food items or personal care items off at Lincoln Lutheran.  Most needed items include:  Tuna and canned meats, soups, canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, boxed dinners, 100% fruit juices and cereal.  Please consider making a donation to help the food pantry.  Lincoln Lutheran's National Honor Society and Student Council want to show that the size of the school does not determine the size of commitment to feeding the hungry!
