Some of the top male vocal groups in eastern Nebraska will participate in the 16th annual “BROTHERS IN SONG…..SINGING ON!” concert at Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner, at 7:00 pm on Sunday May 1st. Groups will include:
• Hastings Chorus of the Plains
• Lincoln Continentals’ Barbershop Chorus
• New Note Barbershop Quartet
• “Homestead Harmonizers” a cappella Barbershop Chorus from the Beatrice area
• Norfolk Men’s Chorus
• and host Christ Lutheran Men’s Chorus.
The concert is intended to showcase the rich variety of male vocal music and to model, especially for younger men, the enjoyment that comes from singing.
Channel 10/11 Morning personality Jon Vanderford and former Grand Island radio host Bob Krall will emcee the program and the nearly 150 massed voices will join together in three songs to conclude the free concert.
