MS VB teams take Runner-Up

Lincoln Lutheran played host once again to the 2017 Middle School Nebraska State VB Invite. There were 15 schools making up 28 teams which competed throughout the day on Saturday, Sept. 9th. Lincoln Lutheran had four teams participating this year. Both the A and C teams finished out the day as Runner-Ups in their respective groups. The A team had a strong start with a win over St. John Seward, but fell short as they took on Christ Norfolk. They finished out the day with a solid win in two sets over Trinity Fremont. The B team started their day with a two set win over Trinity Fremont B. The team fell to a tough St John Battle Creek in three very tight sets. The B team finished out their day with another tough three game set against St Paul West Point. The C team opened their day with a win against Trinity GI. They continued that winning spirit with another two set win over Zion Kearney. They fell just short in the Championship game falling in three tough fought sets to Immanuel Columbus. The Lincoln Lutheran D team  started their day with a tough loss to Christ Juniata and then fell just short again in a tough game vs St Paul West Point. Their final game of the day came as they again fell short against St. John Battle Creek.

Thank you to all the parents and students who came throughout the day to help cheer on and volunteer. It was a great day of Volleyball. The MS Volleyball teams will host Lincoln Christian tonight, 9/11 at home beginning at 4 pm.
