CUNE HS Track Meet Results

Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams on their 3rd place team finishes in a field of 14 teams on Friday at the Concordia University Bulldog Challenge Indoor Meet. Despite the stiff competition, the Warriors set two new meet records, with Colton Meyer winning the 60m high hurdles in a record time of 8.64 seconds, and Josie Puelz pole vaulting with a record height vault of 11’6”. There were numerous medal placings and personal bests for both teams at the meet.

The following received gold medals at the meet: Colton Meyer – 60m hurdles, Josie Puelz- Pole Vault and the 60m hurdles, the 3200m relay of Rebecca Ziems, Rachel Ziems, Natalia Tjelta, and Hayley Steinbauer, the 1600m relay of Josie Puelz, Rebecca Ziems, Kayla Ernstmeyer, and Mackenzie Koepke, and in the high jump Jacob Glines took first place as well.

The following received silver or bronze medals: Mackenzie Koepke – 2nd high jump, Reid Martin – 3rd 60m high hurdles, Noah L’Heureux – 3rd long jump and the 200m dash, 3200m relay – 3rd Gage Canfield, Colten Waldo, Joe Admiraal, and Jacob Meyer, 1600m relay – 3rd Noah L’Heureux, Gage Canfield, Derek Brockhaus, and Colton Meyer.
