Middle School Concert Choirs

Middle School Chorale is a music elective offered to students in grades 6 and 7-8. Members in the sixth grade meet for 45 minutes during their "Musicianship Block" to prepare for on and off campus performances. Sixth-grade choir focuses on learning musicianship, types of music as well as some basic of composition and performance. For the 7-8 Grades, Choir is an elective course designed to further hone the skills learned during sixth-grade musicianship. Students meet for 45 minutes every-other-day to prepare for on and off campus performances. Choir rehearsals are devoted to the development of choral ensemble techniques, the strengthening of individual voices and the nurturing of musicianship. Annual performances include the Fall Sampler, Christmas and Spring Concerts.
