2018 Gala

2018 Lincoln Lutheran Gala

The Lutheran Education Foundation (LEF) raised over $115,000 at its 23rd annual Lincoln Lutheran Gala and Dinner Auction on March 23, 2018 at the Embassy Suites.

Proceeds from the silent and live auctions will support the Christian education of current and future students. It was the second year of mobile bidding.

Kristin Bennett, development assistant and Gala coordinator, said she was excited to have new items on the auction and many new attendees.  “God put his hands on our event and blessed it with a great turn out.  He has provided our school with another year to teach and impact our students through a Christ-centered education.”

Mark and Kathie Divine were honored as the 2018 Lincoln Lutheran Shield of Faith Award winner.  Randy and Charlene Wilcox were honored as the 2018 Lincoln Lutheran Founders Award winner.  These awards recognize ways in which these individuals have worked to enhance the ministry of Lincoln Lutheran and Lutheran education to the community of Lincoln.

“It is truly a humbling experience to see over 400 guests attend the Gala and make a difference in the lives of young men and women today, tomorrow and forever,” said Lloyd Wagnitz, Director of Ministry Advancement.  “The event brings people together in generous support of students and for an evening of fun, fellowship and family.”

Next year’s Gala is scheduled for March 22, 2019.
