Estate Gift Will Impact Ministry

Lincoln Lutheran was blessed with an undesignated gift from the estate of Ivadelle Repschlaeger in late June for just over $150,000.  This was an incredible blessing!  Per policy, any undesignated gift over $50,000 requires representatives from the Lutheran Education Foundation, the LLSA, an Association Pastor and the Lincoln Lutheran Executive Director to meet and determine how to best allocate the gift to positively impact ministry both now and for the future.

2013-2014 Tuition Rates/Early Registration

LL Families:  Please watch your mail for a letter with information regarding 2013-2014 tuition rates.  Included with the letter are registration and financial aid forms.  Early registration deadline is March 15, so please be aware the registration fee increases after March 15.  Please contact the school office if you have questions about tuition rates, the registration process or the financial aid process - 402.467.5404.

Lincoln Lutheran plans for the future

LLSA Site-Study Committee Engages in an RFI Process

Last spring the Lincoln Lutheran Board of Directors authorized the creation of a study committee in response to a critical target from the Association’s strategic plan. The critical target focused on Facilities states, “Lincoln Lutheran provides a multi-functional facility, designed and maintained to promote and enhance the delivery of excellent education and extra-curricular programs.” Our current 17+ acre campus is certainly a blessing and God has used it to do great ministry for more than 50 years. However, our space has some very real limitations. Adding bricks and mortar to our current campus will further limit space for programs and parking.

It Really Isn't About the Money

I recently received an email from one of our wonderful Lincoln Lutheran seniors. Their email signature included a quote from Warren Buffett which read, "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get." These words, shared by a man who has realized many successes in the eyes of the world, caused me to consider how they apply to our Warrior Community.

Keeping it Clean

Last week I had the joy and privilege of getting my hands dirty.

A drain pipe clogged in our house and as usual I tried to make a run at getting the pipe freed up myself. It didn’t take long to realize this was a challenge I hadn’t seen before in our home.
