Warriors Advance in Districts with Wednesday Night Win!

The game started late.  Gathered Warrior soccer players and fans alike, watched Seward and Pius duke it out in overtime.  The Bolts pulled it off.  Would the Warriors face them the following night? Or would Norris get in the way.  With the 4th Warrior goal, in quick answer to Norris' 1st score in the second half, the answer was 'no, Norris would only be a speed bump on the Warrior road to another District championship match up.  Goals were spread around with Marcus Gubanyi netting first.  Taylor Katt followed and Kevin Soenksen hammered in 2 others.  All four goals were the result of team passing and communication.  One of Kevin's scores really began at midfield with a series of at least 6 precision place passes. And while the seniors rested for much of the second half, the new guard demonstrated a bright future for Warrior team. The officiating for the game was balanced and controlled. The match up tomorrow night should prove to be a test of who wants it more.  Come out and support these young men and their coaches.
