Senior Action Project Presentation

Executive Summary: 
Senior Action Project Presentation May 3, 3pm @ LL

Senior students will present their projects covering what they have done to "take action" to address an issue within their community. Topics will include: poverty, drug abuse and addiction, mental illness and care for people with special needs among other things. Students will explain how they worked to put their faith in action.

Summer Science Camps

Students in grades 6-12 are invited to summer science camps.  These camps are 3-5 day residential camps are college and universities in Nebraska.  Look for more information at http://yns.nebraska.edu or pick up an informational flier at the front office.

Middle School Science Bowl Update

Lincoln Lutheran is excited to announce that nine middle school students will be participating in the Nebraska Regional Science Bowl on February 7th.  The competition will be held at Wayne State.  Our nine students equates to 2 teams.  This is a qualifier for the National Science Bowl in Washington DC.  We are hoping to improve on our top ten performance from last year.

Middle School Students sing in UNO Honor Choir

On January 9th, three Lincoln Lutheran middle school choir students had the opportunity to attend the University of Nebraska Omaha's annual Middle School Honor Choir Festival. Tanner Lebo, Jacob Meyer, and Isaac Loewe were accepted into the group with the help of choir director Sam Eschliman. Over 375 regional middle school students auditioned for the group of only 80 singers. Congratulations to these young men as they represented Lincoln Lutheran through their musical talents.

Lincoln Lutheran Spanish Students Mentor Trinity Kids

Lincoln Lutheran's Spanish 1 students had the privilege to share their knowledge with their 4th and 5th grade Spanish buddies at Trinity Lutheran School. Miss Kelly took her high school students over to meet with Mrs. Ziems' classes, which has become a bi-annual Spanish class gathering.
