All Five Fall Sports qualify for State!

It has been an amazing fall sports season for the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors. For the first time in school history, all five of the fall sports teams have qualified for State competition, with our girls Softball team winning State!

Haleigh Fitzsimmons signs with CUNE

Congratulations to Haleigh Fitzsimmons! She signed to dance for the CUNE Bulldogs dance team. The signing ceremony took place in the Lincoln Lutheran Media Center on Thursday, Nov. 2. Haliegh's family and friends were present for the signing. We want to wish Haleigh God's richest blessings on her college career at CUNE!

HS Volleyball Win Sub-Districts

On Thursday, the LL Warriors took down Beatrice in 2 sets, and then also beat the other Class B team Norris 2-1 to close out regular season play.

On Monday night, the Warriors defeated Milford in round 1 of Sub-Districts 25-7, 25-10, and 25-15 with all Warriors getting in on the action! 

On Tuesday Night, the Warriors defeated Lincoln Christian in 3 sets to earn a spot at Districts. Come out and support the Warriors as they are working on their quest to State!!

Centennial Conference VB All Tournament Team

Congratulations to Marriah Buss for being named to the 2017 Centennial Conference All Tournament Team. Congratulations also to Hope Leimbach for earning Honorable Mention. 

Music Department presents Fall Reformation Concert and Soup Supper

On Tuesday, October 24th, the Music Boosters hosted a Soup Supper with free will donation that went to support technology enhancements for the MS/HS Music Department. The LL Music Department, grades 6th-12th, had their Fall Reformation Concert & Hymn Sing in the Main Gym. The evening featured all of Lincoln Lutheran's music ensembles (6th grade, MS & HS Band and Choir), and we welcomed a special guest organist, Paul Soulek, from St. John’s, Seward.

Cross Country State Results

The Warrior cross country team ended its season with seven runners representing Lincoln Lutheran at the State Cross Country meet in Kearney on Friday, October 20th.  Kayla Steinbauer represented the girls' team finishing with a time of 25:14.  The boys' team finished in 18th place.  Running for the Warriors were: Tanner Lebo (19:17.8), Noah L'Heureux (19:17.9), Jacob Meyer (20:29) , Jack Rolland(21:39), Ryan Hlavity (21:47), and Colton Meyer (22:55).  Congratulations to all of the runners!

HS Volleyball Results

Congratulations to the Varsity volleyball team as they took down the # 1 seed Wahoo in 2 sets 25-19, 26-18 winning the Lincoln Christian Invitational tournament on Saturday. They also defeated Auburn and Bergan in 2 sets. The Reserves team won the Seward Freshman / Reserves tournament by defeating York in the Championship. They also beat Seward and Columbus in the other matches. Great weekend of volleyball Warriors!!

VB Results from Oct. 17th

Lincoln Lutheran played in a triangular at Columbus Scotus Tuesday evening with all 3 teams competing. The Reserves team only played Columbus Scotus and put up a good effort, but lost in 3 sets. The JV team lost 2-0 to Columbus Scotus but came back in a 3 set win over Hastings St. Cecilia.  Lincoln Lutheran played Scotus even points wise, but dropped the match 2-1  at the Columbus gym. Lutheran lost their lead in the 1st set and then dropped the set 25-23, won set 2 by a score of 25-20, but then lost the 3rd set 25-22.

Congrats MS VB on Tourney Win at Auburn 10/14

Congratulations to the MS VB A team who finished their season this past Saturday at the Auburn Tournament with a championship. The girls had to play hard as they fought back against a tough Fall City Sacred Heart team beating them in three very close and tough sets. The team went on to win their next two games against Auburn, HTRC winning each in two sets. The tournament closed out a great season with the A team finishing with a 15-1 record.
