Wahoo/BH/LL Baseball team gets a win

Wahoo/BH/LL Baseball team got a win against #1 Norris on Tuesday, 3/27.  Kasey Ohnoutka's RBI single gave Chase Stebbing the lead and the starter made it hold up in his complete-game to give the Class B #5 Warriors a 2-1 win over the #1 Norris Titans. Kasey's line drive single allowed Luke Sousek to score for the 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 6th inning.

Soccer Results 3/27

Congrats to our boys and girls soccer teams. They both won against Seward High on Tuesday, 3/27. Girls won 3-1 wil Kassidy Johnson scored all 3 goals for LL.  Boys won 3-0.  Abbos Ishonov netted the hat trick for the Warriors.

Track Results - Fairbury Meet 3/24

The Track coaches would like to commend the athletes on their efforts and fine performances on Saturday at the Fairbury Invitational meet. The weather was more than chilly and despite the cold and windy conditions, the Warriors were giving it their best efforts. Both teams had nice team results, as the girls team brought home the 1st place plaque and the boys team finished in a solid 5th place against some stiff competition with both Class B and C teams. The results for the meet are posted on the board by the main gym and they include all times, jumps, and marks.

LJS All-State Honorable Mention

Congratulations to Jacob Glines, Kasey Ohnoutka, Mackenzie Koepke & Paige Ravenscroft on being named to the LJS Basketball All-State Honorable Mention!

Congrats 8th Grade Boys Basketball!

A big congratulations goes out to the LL 8th grade Boys Basketball team on a 2-2 finish at the National Lutheran Basketball Invitational. The warriors played very well against the top Lutheran Basketball teams in the nation and should be very proud of their accomplishments. Thanks for a great season!

Soccer Results for 3/23 against Conestoga: Girls won 2-1 in OT (Goals made by Layney Poppe and Kristina Tewes and Boys won 5-1.

Coach Rich Olson Stepping Down

After 32 seasons of being a head coach, Rich Olson, Lincoln Lutheran Girls’ Varsity Basketball Coach, is stepping away from coaching to pursue other adventures. 

Coach Olson has enjoyed a celebrated career. He served 20 years as a teacher and head coach at Millard South, 6 years teaching and head coach at Lincoln Northeast High and 6 years serving as Head Girls Basketball coach at Lincoln Lutheran. Click "view for more"

CUNE HS Track Meet Results

Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams on their 3rd place team finishes in a field of 14 teams on Friday at the Concordia University Bulldog Challenge Indoor Meet. Despite the stiff competition, the Warriors set two new meet records, with Colton Meyer winning the 60m high hurdles in a record time of 8.64 seconds, and Josie Puelz pole vaulting with a record height vault of 11’6”. There were numerous medal placings and personal bests for both teams at the meet.

Soccer Results on 3/15

The Boys Soccer team came away with a 4-0 win against Omaha Concordia.  The first half ended with goals from Ethan Zager and Chase DeBusk. In the second half, Jackson Wahl and a Concordia own goal gave the Warriors two more goals to end the game!

The Girls Soccer team lost 6-2 against Omaha Concordia. Sophomore Elayne Poppe scored both goals for the Warriors.
