VB Results from Sept. 12th

Congratulations again to the volleyball teams as all 3 teams rolled out a victory on Tuesday night against Auburn! Great job Warriors! The Reserve team went 2-1, the JV team 2-0 and the Varsity team 3-0, to bring their record to 11-0. Keep up the great work as you enter in to some more tough matches next week!

HS Varsity VB Defeat Malcolm

The Varsity girls team won the Malcolm Invitational Tournament on Saturday by defeating top-ranked Malcolm in 2 sets, 25-19, 25-14. The team had a very solid performance both offensively and defensively. Congratulations Warriors!!

MS VB teams take Runner-Up

Lincoln Lutheran played host once again to the 2017 Middle School Nebraska State VB Invite. There were 15 schools making up 28 teams which competed throughout the day on Saturday, Sept. 9th. Lincoln Lutheran had four teams participating this year. Both the A and C teams finished out the day as Runner-Ups in their respective groups. The A team had a strong start with a win over St. John Seward, but fell short as they took on Christ Norfolk. They finished out the day with a solid win in two sets over Trinity Fremont.

"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

The Lincoln Lutheran High School Drama Department, presented You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown for the 2017 HS fall musical.  Charles Schulz’s beloved comic comes to life in this Clark Gesner’s musical. The whole gang is here: bossy Lucy is hopelessly in love with piano prodigy Schroeder who doesn’t give her the time of day, perfectionist Sally is still mocking blanket-toting Linus, Snoopy is in the doghouse, and “blockhead,” himself, Charlie Brown, is in rare form.

Thank You Volunteers!

A huge Thank You to all the parents and students who helped us out by volunteering your time and talents to make this year's Middle School State Volleyball Tournament on Saturday a great success! There were so many of you who helped out, we wish we could list you all by name, just know that we appreciate everything. The tournament ran very smoothly and that couldn't have happened without you!

VB Results from Sept. 7th - Varsity girls won both games Fairbury and Conestoga.  Reserve team beat both Lincoln High and Southwest

Golf Results

The Girls Golf team lost their duel to Grand Island Central Catholic on Tuesday. The Lady Warriors shot a team score of 258 at Indianhead Golf Course against GI Central Catholic's 214. On Thursday the team came back and shot a team score of 213 at Woodland Hills playing against Palmyra and Cedar Bluff.  Logan Eschliman carded a 49, followed by Grace Fahleson with a 52.  Natalie Barrett and Sophia Fahleson both shot a 56 to complete team scoring.

VB Results from Sept. 5th

The No. 5 Warriors handled Lincoln Christian 25-20, 25-23, 16-25 and 25-16 to move to 5-0 for the season.  Marriah Buss led the way with 24 kills while Josie Puelz had 8.  Hope Leimbach had 37 set assists and 3 ace serves.  Erin Williams led in digs with 25. The JV team had a great battle but lost in 3.

HS Volleyball Results

The HS Volleyball team had success this past weekend and took 1st place at the Plattsmouth Tournament. The team defeated a very good Ralston team in 3 sets, and then went on to beat the #1 seed Arlington in another 3 set match! The Championship match featured Lincoln Lutheran vs. Seward. Our Warriors prevailed and won this one in 2 sets, 25-21, 25-14. Great team effort ladies! Marriah Buss led with 61 kills for the day, Hope Leimbach tallied 83 assists, and Erin Williams added 47 digs. Tonight the team plays at home against Lincoln Christian.

Girls Golf Results

The Girls Golf team finished 3rd at the Tri County Invitational.  The team was led by Logan Eschliman who carded a 96 for her personal best score.  Logan finished 4th overall.  Sophia Fahleson shot a 110 to finish 10th overall.  Natalie Barrett continues to play well and Grace Fahleson is improving rapidly and shot a personal best 122.
