Congrats to Girls Softball on Wins at State!

Congratulations to the Crete-LL Softball co-op for two big wins on the opening day of play for the 2017 Girls Softball State Tournament in Hastings. The team beat Hastings 5 -2 in the first round and went on to beat Seward 6-5. Crete/LL will continue play in the Championship bracket tonight at 7 pm as they face off against Gretna. MS VB Results

The MS Volleyball team played Wahoo on Tuesday, October 10th.  The C team won 3 out of 4 sets and the B team lost in 3 sets.  There was a battle between the A teams. The MS Wahoo A team has not lost to an opponent in 5 straight years. Last night the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors jumped on them quick and never looked back on the 1st set. The second set was a real battle with the Wahoo Warriors.  They were ahead of LL for the majority of the set but LL rallied from a score of 22-24 to win 26-24.   Congrats to the A Team!

HS VB defeated DC Aquinas

All 3 volleyball teams were successful last night by defeating D.C. Aquinas. The Reserves team won in 2 sets and the JV won in an exciting match that went 3 sets! The Varsity defeated the Monarchs 3-1 by scores of 24-26,  25-8, 25-19,  25-14, so after a bit of a rough start the Warriors took charge to finish out the match. Hope Leimbach put up 50 set assists (season high) and 11 digs, Erin Williams also contributed 18 digs.

2017 Girls Soccer Team Earns Awards

Join us as we congratulate the 2016-2017 LL Girls Soccer team as they were awarded two post season honors. The Lutheran All American Association awarded the team with a Gold Award for Team Ethics and Sportsmanship. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America awarded the team with a Platinum certificate for Team Ethics. We would also like to congratulate two individual team players for their excellence throughout the year. Rachael Garbe was named to 1st Team All-American and Gabby Mason was named to 2nd Team All-American by the L.A.A.A

HS Volleyball Results

The Varsity team had two great performances in their matches at the Conference Tournament on Saturday. They defeated both teams in 2 sets. They took down #1 seed Archbishop Bergan 25-18, 25-19, and then went on to defeat the #5 seed Bishop Neumann 25-13, 27-25. Great work Warriors!!

Crete-LL Girls Softball District Champs!

Congratulations goes to LL's Leah Jurgens and the whole Crete-LL co-op Softball team as they won Districts on on Saturday (10/7) and have advanced to the state tournament in Hastings starting Wednesday (10/11).  They will play at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, but the opponent is unknown due to two teams who had to postpone their games last week due to the weather.

VB Results from Oct. 5th

Defending Class C-1 state champion Omaha Concordia knocked off No. 4 Lincoln Lutheran in the quarterfinals of the Centennial Conference Tournament, 25-18, 25-23 on Thursday at Lincoln Lutheran. Marriah Buss had 16 kills for Lutheran, Hope Leimbach had 21 set assists and Erin Williams managed 18 digs. The Warriors play at David City Aquinas on Saturday, Oct. 6th at 10:am and 11:15am.

The Girls golf placed 2nd at Districts.

The Girls golf team placed second at the C1 District Championship Tuesday, October 3rd at Hidden Valley Golf Course.  The girls shot a season low team total of 401 for their runner-up finish to Lincoln Christian who shot 391.  The team was led by Logan Eschliman who carded a personal best 92 to finish in 2nd place overall.  Sophia Fahleson shot a 94 to place 3rd and Grace Fahleson shot a 105 to finish 9th.  Natalie Barrett completed the team scoring with a 110 to help the Lady Warriors qualify for State for the seventh straight year!  State begins nex

HS Volleyball Results 10/3

All 3 teams were in action Tuesday evening at Wahoo. The Reserves easily won their match in 2 sets and the JV lost in 2, but had a great effort in the 2nd set losing 25-23. The Varsity had a good showing but had about that same result, losing the first set and then bouncing back in sets 2 and 3 but losing to C1 #3 Wahoo by scores of 26-24 and 27-25. The Centennial Conference tournament gets underway tomorrow with #3 seed LL hosting #6 seed Omaha Concordia. Game time is at 6:00 at Lincoln Lutheran.
